SC CYFAR builds
community capacity, develops human capital, empowers youth, and
strengthens democracy and builds civic capacity, as well as responds
to needs of low income children, youth, families and community.
South Carolina
has four community sites:

Saluda – partnership with community based organization / Saluda
Communities in Schools

Darlington – partnership with faith-based organization / Center
Community Coalition of Center Baptist Church

Two program in
coordination with South Carolina State University (1890 program)
Over 200
children, youth and family members received targeted programming to
improve their quality of life focusing on:

Intergenerational leadership development (skill building)

building and accomplishment of goals and objectives of Community
Vision and Plan)
